Kornhaus

Kornhaus is a cultural meeting place offering a variety of activities that immerse you in the world of history, art, and theater.

Here you will find workshops on historical, regional, and craft topics, specifically designed for preschools and schools. There is also the “Museum in a Box”, which can be used when the exhibitions are closed.

Several times a year, the art appraisal committee at Kornhaus presents exciting exhibitions featuring contemporary art from the region, across Germany, and internationally – showcased by artists and art scholars.

The local art society exhibits current contemporary art once or twice a year and organizes a regional art event at Kornhaus every three years.

Theater performances, classical concerts, and lectures provide varied entertainment. Contemporary regional art is regularly displayed at Kornhaus, complemented by performances at various local venues.
