Description

The Wewelsburg is the only triangular castle in Germany with a completely preserved structure built in the Weser Renaissance style from 1603–1609. Here you can experience history up close and discover exciting perspectives – perfect for teenagers aged 15 and up.

The Kreismuseum Wewelsburg offers changing thematic focuses and special exhibitions that explore, among other things, life in Paderborn as well as the ideology and terror of the SS. This makes history come alive and accessible in many ways.

For families, the combination of museum, youth hostel, and dining facilities is ideal for spending a varied short vacation. With activities featuring the mascot Falko and the Kulturstrolche program, the museum provides plenty of variety and memorable experiences.
