Krippenmuseum im Ölerhaus

Das Krippenmuseum im Ölerhaus shows traditional, handcrafted nativity scenes and is home to an active nativity-building community.

There are regular workshops and courses: carving, painting, figure-making and nativity construction – also special projects with primary schools, where children take their own nativity scene home. Especially attractive: around 100 children's nativity scenes are created each year.

In the adjacent barn natural materials such as roots for root nativity scenes are stored; in addition volunteers take care of restoration and preservation of historic parish nativity scenes. Added to this are family-friendly events and collection drives throughout the year. 🎄
