Kronenburger See

Description
The Kronenburger See covers 27 hectares and offers a variety of leisure activities for sailors, surfers, anglers, and swimmers. The extensive recreational area includes a children's playground, a volleyball court, fitness equipment, a kiosk, a campground, a youth tent site, and the Biber Camp with self-catering houses. A holiday park, boat rental, and a surf and sailing school complete the offerings. The lake, created between 1973 and 1977, also serves as a flood retention basin for the Kyll and Taubkyll rivers. Dog owners have plenty of space at Kronenburger See, but leashes are mandatory. A long leash still allows activities like fetching sticks and swimming. Dogs are not allowed in designated no-dog zones. Kronenburger See combines natural experiences with recreational fun in a peaceful setting and invites you to enjoy a relaxing stay.
