The Küstenmuseum Wilhelmshaven takes you on an exciting journey through millennia of coastal history – from the Ice Age to today. Here you experience how the sea and people have shaped the North Sea landscape together.

Interactive media tables, impressive original finds, and surprising insights into coastal habitats bring history to life. You discover the stories of dike builders, the first coastal inhabitants, and navy personnel, and learn how nature, technology, and daily life are closely intertwined.

Right in front of the museum, the floating monument Feuerschiff Wilhelmshaven invites you to explore the maritime environment up close and connect the museum with the harbor world.

Starting October 10, the special exhibition “Ports, Ships, Castles. Wilhelmshaven in LEGO®” awaits you – a unique experience for all LEGO® fans.

The program includes exciting guided tours, workshops, holiday programs, and lectures that complement the diverse exhibition offerings and are especially aimed at families.
