The Kulturhistorisches Museum and the Museum of Natural History, both housed in the same building, feature regular exhibitions as well as numerous special exhibitions. They include extensive collections covering Magdeburg’s history from prehistoric times to the present. Highlights include archaeological finds, historical artifacts, artworks, and exhibits from various eras.
In the museum’s Kaiser-Otto Hall, the original Magdeburger Reiter statue is on display.

If coming via the A2 and A14 highways, take the B71 (Magdeburger Ring) exit “Zentrum” or the B1. Follow Ernst-Reuter-Allee, then turn onto Otto-von-Guericke Straße to reach your destination.
## Public Transportation
The tram stops “Haeckelstraße/ Museum” on Otto-von-Guericke Straße and “Domplatz” on Breiter Weg are close to the museum. More information about reaching the museum by public transport is available from Magdeburger Verkehrsbetriebe (MVB).

Everyone else: 6.00 Euro (reduced 3.00 Euro*)
* Reduced admission is available for: groups of 12 or more, pupils and trainees up to their 21st birthday, students up to their 25th birthday, recipients of social assistance in accordance with SGB II and SGB XII, holders of the Otto-City-Card, and severely disabled persons.
A single ticket grants access to both the Kulturhistorisches Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Both museums are located in the same building.
