Lainzer Tiergarten - hike

Explore nature at its finest in the 25 km² Lainzer Tiergarten, a part of the Vienna Woods located in Vienna's 13th district. Discover the picturesque oak and beech forests on the numerous hiking trails, and take a discovery tour through the surroundings on the nature trails. Recharge at one of the three rest houses and let children play on the five large forest playgrounds. Visit the visitor center to learn more about the Lainzer Tiergarten and its protected areas. Also, visit the magnificent Hermes Villa, built by Emperor Franz Joseph between 1882-1886.
