Museum Bad Schandau

Description
The Museum Bad Schandau takes you on an exciting journey through the history of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. You'll find fascinating exhibitions about climbing featuring large-format photographs and impressive artifacts that showcase the tradition, personal stories, and the development of this sport.
A special highlight is the Erich-Wustmann Collection, which offers insights into endangered cultures from Scandinavia, South America, and Africa through artifacts, photos, and film footage.
The museum is also part of the INTERREG project Landscape and People, which explores the relationship between humans and the landscape in the border region. Two new exhibitions in cooperation with the museum in Česká Lípa are planned soon.
