Description

Idyllically located near Uetersen with manor house, barn, and café

In the magnificent manor house, visitors can experience how a bourgeois family used to live. In the fully furnished rooms, you feel transported back to past centuries. The old barn now serves as an exhibition space for all kinds of art. Paintings, sculptures, and photographs are featured in the rotating exhibitions alongside drawings and art prints. Another highlight is the café “Langes Mühle,” housed in the octagonal base of the former windmill from 1889. Here, you can enjoy delicious cakes and tarts with a cup of coffee or tea while taking in the history of the place. The beautifully landscaped park of the estate also invites you to take a long walk – a place to pause quietly and experience the harmonious connection of nature, history, and art. A visit that appeals to all the senses and touches the soul. The café is open on Wednesday, Friday, and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 2 to 6 p.m.
