Museum Zinkenbacher Malerkolonie

Museum Zinkenbacher Malerkolonie presents artists of the Zinkenbach colony and the Austrian interwar period – the so-called "forgotten generation"; ideal for introducing children to local art history and biographies of exiled or overlooked artists. The special exhibition 2026 "Insights into Private Collections" shows rare loans – landscapes, portraits, still lifes and prints that spark children's curiosity about different genres. For school classes and groups there are creative workshops (March and fall) focusing on creative learning and language support; there is also a theater workshop for 3rd and 4th grade featuring playful voice and text work. 🎨🎭
