Description
Museumshof Kammern invites you on a journey through Earth's geological history and rural life. The centerpiece is the special exhibition on 500 million years of Earth history, showing how life on Earth has developed.
- About 400 fossils, including shells, corals, and shark teeth 🦈
- Large original farm machinery in the historic barn
- Rare pieces such as two coal cribs and a broom-binding machine
- Local history in the neighboring Steinrisserhaus
The collection comes especially alive through the collector's personal stories about the individual objects. The neighboring house also shows how local history extends from Celtic stone axes found here to mining and to the knights of Kammerstein and Ehrenfels.
