Museumsinsel Laßrönne is entirely dedicated to the subject of dikes – showing the central role they play in the history and culture of the region around the water.
As one of five "museum islands" in the Elbmarsch, Laßrönne is a small branch of the museum at the Marstall, giving you a vivid introduction to the history and life in the Elbmarsch.
Along the museum islands, you will find fascinating information panels with interesting facts about the Elbmarsch region, especially about life with and by the water.
