Description

The Wiener Musikverein is a magnificent concert hall in the heart of Vienna and the home of the world-famous Vienna Philharmonic. The Great Hall is regarded, thanks to its highly acclaimed acoustics, as one of the best concert halls in the world. 🎻✨

For children, adolescents and families there is a versatile, age-appropriate program: children's series such as Topolina, Agathes Wunderkoffer, Albertos Abenteuer, Allegretto and Capriccio make classical music playfully tangible. Interactive elements, stories, puppet theatre and dance provide variety. 👧🧒🎶

Specifically for schools and kindergartens, the house offers workshops, rehearsal visits and 'Meet the Artist' formats – ideal to connect young people directly with musicians and instruments. Subscriptions for children's concerts are in high demand; single tickets are also available. 🎟️

  • 2–6 years: Baby concerts and playful series (e.g., Dodo & Tatz, Topolina) – space to sit and move.
  • 6–10 years: Albertos Abenteuer and Allegretto – interactive concerts with stories, dance and participation elements.
  • 10–12 years: Klassik-Hits and Capriccio – larger programs that spark curiosity for different musical styles.
  • From age 12: youth programs and youth concerts (e.g., Capriccio from age 13) – ideal for young people who want to experience the stage and the audience.
