Description

Between the Sehestedt dike and the mudflats of the Jade Bight, the Nationalpark Erlebnisstation Sehestedt is open from May to September.

Located right in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park, this is home to the world’s unique "Floating Moor," a degraded raised bog that you can visit from the station. The flood-proof exhibition containers at the station provide information about the national park, mudflat and coastal birds, and the "Floating Moor."

Visitors, including groups from preschools, schools, and adult education, can experience the habitats of the mudflat, moor, and salt marsh here.

Admission is free for all visitors.

Groups also have access to an extensive program and a laboratory container for further exploration.
