Description

Experience Jadebusen in detail: The Nationalpark-Haus Dangast is a national park discovery center for the whole family, featuring a 500 m² adventure area focused on the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. It includes various saltwater aquariums, a seal sandbank & bird salt meadow, a children’s area, a well-stocked shop, and much more.

Changing special exhibitions make each visit a unique experience. A permanent special exhibit shows what actions are taken when a large oil tanker or container ship gets into distress at sea.

Which ship can tow such a giant even in hurricane conditions?

What kinds of monitoring systems are in place?

The team also runs a comprehensive event program in Dangast:

- The mudflat tours "What Lives in the Mudflats?" in Dangast,

- the interactive children’s tours "Mudflat for Kids" I - III in Dangast,

- a large school event program,

- the "Marine Conservation Learning Lab" for school classes,

- educational leave seminars for employees and private individuals

and much more.
