Naturfreibad Schinderweiher Niederschelderhütte

Description
The Schinderweiher was first mentioned in 1742. At that time, a councilor named Storch from Freusburg discovered this pond, which was probably created by damming a stream by local residents. In 1926/1927, the pond was converted into an outdoor swimming pool. In 1937, Schinderweiher became the property of the local community of Mudersbach. Today, the Schinderweiher is a popular natural swimming spot in summer.
