Oberlauf Krückau (20km)

The tour starts in the charming town of Barmstedt. Passing the Holy Spirit Church, you leave the town and head into nature! Riding past meadows and fields, you go through the beautiful Heeder Tannen forest, where you might spot some woodland creatures along the way. Just before Langeln, you can see the Bronze Age burial mound field from afar. After that, a quick detour to Melkhus Heede is definitely worth it! Here, cyclists can recharge with homemade ice cream and other treats. The route continues once again through the seemingly endless landscape back to Barmstedt. Before the bike tour ends, you should take a break at the fairytale-like castle island on Rantzauer Lake. The end of this just over 20-kilometer route is back at the starting point.
