Description

At the Oldtimermuseum Meßkirch, you'll find a fascinating collection of about 10 automobiles from before and after the war, as well as around 30 motorcycles and various other vehicles spread over two floors.

The ground floor showcases cars from 1925 through the 1990s, while the upper floor focuses on motorcycles from 1913 up to the 1970s.

A special highlight is the 1957 Schakomobil: a unique four-seat compact car made of plastic from Meßkirch, designed to compete with the VW Beetle.

You can also see the racing bike and numerous awards of the famous BMW sidecar racer Ernst Kramer from Meßkirch.

Most exhibits are privately owned and are occasionally put into action by members of the local vintage car enthusiasts, so the display is always changing.

Admission is free for children up to and including 14 years old – a great destination for the whole family! 🚗
