Description

Poensgenpark is one of the most well-known parks in Ratingen. As an example of a "late landscape park" at the turn of the 20th century, it is one of the special cultural treasures of the Rhineland. Originally laid out as a private garden, this 4.5-hectare park has been open to the public since 1977. It has been part of the Garden Art Route between the Rhine and Meuse since 2005 and has been a protected monument since 1997.
