Description

As far back as we can remember, we have always been in contact with various animal species – and we wanted the same for our future.

We started with pets and continuously expanded our "animal park." First, a group of runner ducks arrived, then the first chickens. And it was meant to continue like this.

Through our work with purebred poultry breeding, we became aware of the group of "old and endangered farm animal breeds," which led Dennis to dedicate himself to breeding Altsteirer chickens. Many other breeds on the Red List also sparked our interest.

To fully enjoy our hobby, we bought a small farmstead and soon after began breeding other endangered livestock breeds.

Over time, we parted with many breeds and transferred them to other animal-appropriate breeding operations, as our hearts had belonged to the New World camelids from the very beginning. To do justice to them and to focus entirely on these soulful animals, we decided to keep, care for, and breed only alpacas and llamas on our farm.

You will see that the reputation of being called "dolphins of the pasture" is not just talk. But be careful — don’t look llamas and alpacas too deeply in the eyes: you might fall in love immediately!
