The adventure playground in Salzgitter is located in Salzgitter-Gebhardshagen, between the soccer field, Mühlenbach stream, and the Wasserburg castle, and was opened on June 26, 2018. The playground, designed as a medieval play landscape, is perfect for children aged 6 to 12 to have fun. The creatively designed castle complex invites climbing and balancing on the fortress, sliding, romping, and exploring. In the castle courtyard, you'll find an ox cart with a hitched ox and the princess's carriage. Thrones for trying out are also provided so you can feel like a real prince or princess. Various features, such as ropes, cords, ledges, grips, and holes in the wall, enhance the climbing and play experience and offer new challenges again and again.

Besides the “big” real castle, the playground is a great adventure for both little brave knights and graceful castle ladies and is definitely worth a visit.
