Römermuseum Altheim

At Römermuseum Altheim children and families can slip into Roman garments and take souvenir photos in front of the impressive Streitwagen. Upstairs there is a play and entertainment area for children, and the interactive game Escape the Römermuseum lets you explore the museum and finish with a reward. The nearby open-air museum Villa Rustica shows a reconstructed Roman bathhouse with visible foundations and heating system – panels and a clay column tell about everyday life. For school groups there are hands-on programs: laying mosaics, building miniatures, writing with quill pens, solving a museum detective scavenger hunt and sorting grain varieties. 🎭
