Description
The Sausee – locally also called Säusee – is a narrow lake covering up to 3,500 square meters in Frankfurt am Main, located within the district but south of the built-up area of Seckbach. The lake and about twenty meters of its surroundings have been designated a natural monument since 1937. The area is part of the Grüngürtel landscape protection zone and green corridors in the city of Frankfurt am Main.
