Schäferkämper Wassermühle is a unique historic technical monument in Westphalia featuring two impressive overshot water wheels set in a picturesque landscape.
On a guided tour lasting about 90 minutes, you will experience grain milling live and immerse yourself in a historic atmosphere filled with many technical and historical insights.
In the lovingly restored former miller’s house, decorated in the style of the 1930s, you can authentically see how people used to live.

A special highlight is the annual mill festival on Whit Monday for the German Mill Day, featuring culinary delights, creative activities, exciting tours, and live demonstrations of grain milling. 🎉
