At the Schopper- und Fischereimuseum you discover the lost craft of the Schopper – historical wooden shipbuilding techniques to watch and try. The exhibition links shipbuilding and fishing into a visual story, shows the development of professional and recreational fishing in Upper Austria and tells the market and Danube shipping history of Aschach. The museum is run by a local association and is aimed at families with hands-on, child-friendly exhibits for children who want to learn more about craft, nature and regional life. 🛶
