Description
Südpark (Düsseldorf) is the largest and most visited park in the state capital of Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, covering 70 hectares. It was created following designs by the Südpark planning group for the 1987 Federal Garden Show by expanding the existing Volksgarten with new park areas laid out on former fallow land. The resulting Südpark consists of three distinct sections.
