Description

The exhibition on Skigeschichte Nesselwang takes you on a journey of discovery through the beginnings and triumphs of skiing in the region. As early as 1895, pioneers conquered the Alpspitze and the Edelsberg on skis, laying the groundwork for Nesselwang's reputation as the ski resort of the Allgäus! 🎿

On the ground floor, you can trace the origins of skiing in Nesselwang. From the first skiers and the founding of the Skiclubs Nesselwang in 1910 to the development of ski tourism – discover how it all began.

The upper floor showcases Nesselwang's rich competitive history. Here, you can marvel at the successes of two Olympic champions such as Franz Keller (1968) and Michael Greis (2006), as well as over 300 championship titles achieved. Historical photos, memorabilia, original ski equipment, medals, and trophies bring the great moments of local sports to life. 🏆
