Description

The Kempten-Museum im Zumsteinhaus presents Kempten's 2,000-year history in a multimedia and interactive way. Complex connections are made understandable and exciting for everyone.

Special highlights are the interactive stations that engage all the senses and turn the visit into an experience for every age group. Admission is free, and the museum is wheelchair accessible – perfect for families with different needs.

For children aged 7 and up, there are exciting workshops like the Herbal Candy Workshop, from age 8 the Gilder Workshop, and from age 9 the Advent Wreath Making. Kids can get creative and learn a lot about traditions.

A mobile app invites you to explore the city's history through interactive audio plays and role-playing games – a fantastic addition for families who want to learn through play.

Additionally, the museum hosts changing special exhibitions, such as “Untold – Queer Stories from the Allgäu”. This exhibition is free to visit and offers diverse cultural perspectives to discover.
