Spielplatz AbenteuerDorf - Kids Campus

In 2023, AbenteuerDorf at Kids Campus was voted the best playground in Leipzig by readers of the Leipziger Volkszeitung. Absolutely deserved, as the overall concept impresses with a variety of play opportunities as well as a cozy café and an event space.

The actual Kids Campus includes a daycare, after-school care, and at its heart, AbenteuerDorf, a large adventure playground. What makes Kids Campus unique for Leipzig: when the daycare and after-school care are closed, the adventure playground is open to all children for play.

AbenteuerDorf is inspired by a real jungle. The play equipment made from bamboo, wood, and jute invites climbing, swinging, and sliding. Children can also follow animal tracks in a leafy maze or splash around under a protective sunshade at the water play area. Older kids can have fun on the climbing wall, spider climber, or playing ball games.

All children under 12 will find great play opportunities tailored to their individual abilities. The grounds are also barrier-free, including the restrooms, and even feature a carousel for wheelchair users.

With a good view over the playground, the RegenwaldBistro offers drinks, ice cream, and healthy homemade snacks (the potato wedges come especially recommended).
