There are plenty of climbing frames, swings, and balance beams, a zip line, trampolines, a wobbly bridge, and a special play area for younger kids with smaller equipment. The adventure playground is designed to offer a wide variety of activities so different age groups can be active and let off steam.

Tall deciduous trees around the playground provide pleasant shade in the summer. The Zorge River, which runs right alongside the Stadtpark, also cools the air.

The Stadtpark also invites families to enjoy a long stroll – to the animal enclosures with red and fallow deer, donkeys, goats, and sheep in the petting zoo, as well as to the gondola pond. Visitors can rent rowboats during the warm season and leisurely glide across the lake past the water fountain. The bistro offers refreshing drinks to complete the experience.
