Stadtpark

Description
The 57-hectare park was created in 1914. A special feature of Stadtpark is the 1.5-kilometer-long canal with large ponds at both ends. At the eastern pond is the “Boathouse,” which welcomes visitors with a cozy atmosphere and modern style.
At the edge of Stadtpark is the Honor Cemetery. It is the final resting place for fallen naval soldiers from World War I sea battles and those who died in World War II.
As the largest green space in the city, Stadtpark is very popular with runners. Mature trees and the scent of wild woodruff create a unique atmosphere. Kids enjoy the large playground with a zip line, swings, and climbing areas.
