Description

A beautiful sandy beach open to everyone

A wide, shallow, and fine sandy beach in Nieblum on the North Sea island of Föhr guarantees carefree swimming fun for both kids and adults.

The island of Föhr is surrounded by the Wadden Sea National Park in the North Sea off Schleswig-Holstein. The village of Nieblum is just a few kilometers from the harbor and charms visitors with captain's houses, thatched roofs, cobblestones, breathtaking gardens, and a fantastic beach. About a 10-minute walk from the town center, you'll find the 6 km long Nieblum beach. It is divided into different beach sections. You can rent beach chairs on-site, and safety is ensured by the DLRG, which has a station in Nieblum. There is also barrier-free beach access for wheelchair users or strollers.

Strand Nieblum – An experience even at low tide

In Nieblum and Goting, the water depths are very shallow, so large parts of the mudflats dry out at low tide. The Wadden Sea then invites you to explore and discover. Since the beach slopes gradually into deeper water, this area is especially suitable for children. Further west, you'll find the Goting Cliff, where you can collect beautiful stones and enjoy a wonderful evening atmosphere.
