Tierpark Flammersfeld - Gehege mit freiem Zugang

Tierpark Flammersfeld - small animal enclosures freely accessible and close to nature

Donations are warmly welcome.

What began as a fallow deer enclosure initiated by the late council member Heinz Lindscheid has over the years grown into a park where a variety of animal species now mingle. Deer and roe deer live together with donkeys in the enclosures. The park is also home to goats. In the small pond, surrounded by pigeons and other birds in their aviaries, ducks and geese enjoy life on the outskirts of Flammersfeld. The guinea pigs and rabbits, peacefully playing together, always bring great joy – especially to children. Occasionally, chickens and roosters join in as well.

Thanks to the voluntary commitment of Mike Majert, the preservation of the animal park is secured. He provides free daily care to the animals. The local community is very grateful to him for this.

The animals are lovingly cared for and provide a nature experience for children. Dam deer, donkeys, ducks, and rabbits can be seen up close. The varied animal park invites you for a Sunday outing combined with the huge adventure and nature playground and a short walk on the Westerwaldsteig trail. A picnic in the green is recommended here, as large seating areas with tables and benches offer plenty of space even for bigger groups. You are also welcome to visit the wading pool on Rheinstraße and the historic Raiffeisenhaus at Raiffeisenstraße 11 in Flammersfeld. The mini-golf course in Flammersfeld offers another attractive family leisure option in town.
