Tierpark Niederfischbach

Experience nature ... which at Tierpark Niederfischbach means encountering local wildlife up close. Storks, lynxes, wild boars, and raccoons have many fascinating stories about their lives to share. The park focuses on these animals as well as the care and breeding of endangered old domestic breeds.

A highlight is the falconry, open from April 1 through early November. In 15 spacious aviaries live falcons, owls, eagles, and buzzards, which you can see flying freely during daily shows (except Mondays and Tuesdays) at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. A falconer shares lots of interesting facts about the different birds and their hunting strategies.
