Description

The Strommuseum in Schermbeck-Damm is known as the smallest electricity museum in the world and invites you to discover exciting knowledge about electrical energy from the outlet.

The museum is located in the over 100-year-old Dammer Stromturm, a local landmark that was once part of an independent community with its own power supply.

Visitors are welcomed by a friendly ox head at the substation, the symbol of the local shooting club – giving the museum a very special, local character.

The Stromturm and the museum have now become an established part of the region and appear on stickers and badges, highlighting their cultural significance.
