Vienenburger See

Vienenburger See is located in the Vienenburg district of the city of Goslar, right on the northwestern edge of the Harz Mountains. The man-made lake was created from a former gravel pit and has since become a popular local recreation spot.

The destination offers a dock for paddle boats and pedal boats, a lakeside café, and several walking and hiking trails with benches for resting.

Every August, the Vienenburger Lake Festival takes place under the motto "Fire & Water." For three days, a varied program with music, cool drinks, exciting activities, and highlights is offered.
