Description
The Vogelschutzgehölz Hausener Auwald, officially designated until 2010 as Bird Protection Area 6 or Nidda-Altarm 6, is located in the Frankfurt district of Hausen. The area stretches mainly between the Nidda River to the west, the route of the Federal Autobahn 66 to the south, and the Willi-Brundert settlement to the east. A small part of the bird protection area lies south of the A 66.
