In 2025, the museum will be closed for renovations, but guided tours will still be offered in the forest.

You never stop learning! That's why Waldmuseum Burg offers an exciting look into the local nature. The fascinating exhibit focuses on the forest ecosystem, nature and species protection, but also covers hunting, geology, and landscape history.

The exhibit stands out for its realistic portrayal of the flora and fauna in their natural habitat. Visitors are encouraged to participate in quizzes and hands-on activities, while children learn about the local animal and plant world in a playful way. During a relaxing walk through the nature experience area, kids get to apply what they've learned! What kind of tree is this? Which bird flew by there? Answering these questions is no problem anymore. From the observation platform, you can look out over the forest canopy, and kids can have fun at the adventure playground. A visit to the Garden of Senses is also worthwhile! A barefoot trail, fragrant plants, and the calming effect of the forest make the outing a great experience!
