Description
Waldpark Radebeul-West is a large natural park area in the Niederlößnitz and Kötzschenbroda Oberort districts of the Saxon town of Radebeul. It is situated on the northwest side of the actual rock ridge, which gives its name to the central east-west vineyard location Radebeuler Steinrücken. In the northern part lies Schwarzes Teich, and on the southern side, along the hillside above Niederlößnitz, stands the water tower. The forest park is part of the Radebeul Lößnitz landscape protection area. The southern border strip of the park, where the hillside edge is visible from the south and the water tower also stands, is still part of the southern historic monument protection area Historic Vineyard Landscape Radebeul, as is the area opposite the Mohrenhaus.
