Waldschwimmbad Thalhausermühle Hamm (Sieg)

Description
Waldschwimmbad Thalhausermühle - Naturally Splashing Around
The outdoor and forest swimming pool "Thalhausermühle" is the largest natural outdoor pool in the Westerwald region, with a water surface of 16,000 sqm and lawns for sunbathing covering 15,000 sqm.
The huge water area and almost as many spacious and well-maintained lawns set in the middle of the forest invite you to stay and relax. Chemicals of any kind are not allowed in the water. The water quality is thanks to nature itself, as the largest natural pool in the region is supplied with water from the Seelbach stream and the Marienthal tunnel. Pure nature in every sense. It’s no wonder that fish feel right at home in this natural outdoor pool. The water quality is regularly tested by the State Office for the Environment. The pool is divided into a swimming area and a non-swimming area. The maximum water depth is four meters. A kiosk is available to complement the offerings at the forest pool.
New since 2024: beach volleyball court and adventure water playground
Adventure lovers will also find plenty to enjoy here: how about a jump from 1 or 3 meters high off the diving tower? Or would you like to climb up to 7 meters on the water climbing wall? The giant slide also promises a lot of fun!
