Description

When you look through the prism in daylight, you see the most beautiful colors: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, and violet. Smaller dark objects in the surroundings appear completely colorful, lines curve, and colored fringes form along the boundaries between illuminated and shaded areas. Because the light passing through the prism does not travel in a straight line, you can overlap the image of the dark area over the bright area by rotating the prism. The brightness of the light and the darkness of the shadow prove to be the source points of all color phenomena. Behind these appearances lies the infinite chain of causes and conditions of light. How the view through the prism affects the person depends on the observer.
