Water Playground Donauinsel

The Donauinsel Water Playground is a popular, outdoor water park on Donauinsel — the largest of its kind in Vienna. Here, exciting water and play stations invite children to explore and splash around. 💦

Age recommendations: 0–2 years, 2–6 years, 6–10 years, 10–12 years, 12+.

• The cable ferry is often the highlight and fun for everyone 🚣

• A 15-meter-long suspension bridge and a real ship lock to discover 🌉⛴️

• Meander zone, play brook and ponds with numerous water play devices for experimenting

• A fenced-off area for toddlers (more wooden equipment, sun sails) for children up to three years

• Quiet zones with benches, tables and loungers; all water areas are shallow and ideal for splashing.

There is no staff on site – children should therefore be supervised. The water is usually cold – but very refreshing on hot days. The water quality of the drinking water supply is regularly tested. 👀🌡️
