Wildpark Christianental

The family-friendly Wildpark Christianental, located in Christianental, is a popular outing destination for both visitors and residents of the town of Wernigerode.

On an area of about 8 hectares, you can find many native animals of the Harz region. There is a wide variety of animals on display: red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar, birds of prey, wildcats, martens, lynxes, raccoons, and domestic animals in the petting enclosure. The park's grounds also feature botanical curiosities like giant sequoias, an ancient redwood, a claw maple, and yews. At the upper part of the animal park, you’ll find the forest inn and the Christianental guesthouse.

While mom and dad relax with a coffee set on the open terrace, the little ones can have fun at the nearby playground. An ideal outing spot for families in the Harz.
