Wilhelm-Busch-Land brings stories and history to life among historic farms and green avenues – a vibrant and impressive experience for the whole family.

A diverse program with workshops, tours, and cultural evenings invites children and adults to discover Wilhelm Busch as a painter, illustrator, poet, and thinker. The Busch Library houses all printed works as well as more than 300 translations into nearly every national language and many dialects.

Famous characters like Max and Moritz, Pious Helene, and the monkey Fipps from Wilhelm Busch’s illustrated tales are especially popular here and delight children who love these classics.
