At Halloween, there’s a special treat for families: children in costumes get free admission – turning the visit into a colorful, joyful celebration.

In the family program “Lantern crafting with a light parade,” children can create colorful animal lanterns featuring designs like cheetahs, zebras, or gorillas before setting off together with their lanterns.

Every day, exciting feedings and informative talks take place – with sea lions, lions, elephants, and gorillas, for example – captivating young and old alike and sharing knowledge about the animal world.

Wilhelma is also involved in over 40 species protection projects worldwide, so families visiting directly contribute to preserving endangered species.
