Willy-Brandt-Anlage

Description
In this popular park with grassy areas, a lovely circular path, playgrounds, a café, and beer garden, you can relax wonderfully right in the city center. While children explore the many play options, adults can find a quiet spot under the trees for a little break in the greenery. The play areas offer climbing, sliding, swinging, as well as playing with water and sand, suitable for children aged 0 to 12 years.
The park is named after Willy Brandt (1913 – 1992), who was the fourth Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1969 to 1974.
Several entrances to the P1 underground garage surround the green area, providing direct access to the town hall, pedestrian zone, and the weekly market on Rathausplatz.
