Description

At Zahnmuseum, modern architecture meets medieval vaulted rooms – a visual, family-friendly combination.

The exhibition is arranged into airy islands or “mouth cavities,” separated by transparent curtains; this makes exploring especially inviting for children. It presents around 120 years of dentistry with historical objects such as a barber's chair (ca. 1720), a dental chair (ca. 1930) and tools (from 1700).

Notable are the molar display cases by Gnigler and Wilhelm. The museum is accessible and offers individual as well as group tours – ideal for families or school groups. 🦷
