A fascinating world full of discoveries awaits you at Zoologischer Garten Magdeburg! 🐘 Here you can marvel at the cute offspring: an elephant calf named Edda and a female giraffe calf were recently born. The endangered cotton-top tamarins have also welcomed cute new additions! In total, 703 animals from 177 species live in the zoo, including many endangered ones, offering an exciting experience for children ages 4 and up.

Embark on a safari through the Africambo-Fläche, which brings you closer to the diverse wildlife of the African savanna. In the Giraffenhaus, you can experience the gentle giants eye-to-eye, while in the Schimpansenhaus, the lively inhabitants await you in their tropical home. Don't forget to visit the mighty black rhinoceroses in the 'Afrikanischen Savannenhaus' and the hamadryas baboons by the waterfall in the Ethiopian Highlands. For little adventurers, there are also two exciting playgrounds to run wild.
