39th Saarwellingen Christmas Market

The Christmas market opens on Saturday, November 28, at 3 PM. The youth orchestra of the Musikverein „Harmonie“ Saarwellingen will provide the musical kickoff.

Around the Old Town Hall, visitors will find numerous stalls offering festive treats and drinks: from waffles and pastries to mulled wine and traditional strong beer, as well as coffee and cake. There is also plenty to discover in the Kulturtreff. Numerous exhibitors present lovingly crafted handiwork, artisan decorations, wooden toys, jewelry, and much more – the perfect chance to find special Christmas gifts.

A special highlight is the Saarwellingen chainsaw artist Frank Gindorf, who will again create impressive wood sculptures live in front of the Old Town Hall. For the little Christmas market guests, the visit from St. Nicholas on Sunday, November 29, at 3:30 PM will be a memorable highlight. He comes to Saarwellingen with his gifts, bringing bright smiles to children’s faces.
