Christmas market at the Schinderhannesturm.

We invite you on Saturdays (from 3 PM) and Sundays (from 11 AM) to the "AdventLights" Christmas market at Schinderhannesplatz. On Sunday, the first Advent, the traditional open festive castle event takes place.

Visit the district town of Simmern and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of our AdventLights by the tower. Visitors can expect a beautiful illumination of Simmern’s landmark and the entire Schinderhannesplatz. The best mulled wines from winemakers in the nearby Rhine, Mosel, and Nahe wine regions are waiting for you.

The cabin market offers handicrafts, gift items, and all the good things for body and soul, along with regional specialties in the festive setting of AdventLights am Turm. Grilled wild sausage will be there just like homemade Christmas cookies, woodcrafts, and hand-knitted items for cold days. Pizza, waffles, liqueurs, honey, candles, and decorative Christmas items also await.
